You may also contact HLF using the FREE CONSULTATION form. HLF assists people who are wrongly contacted by companies looking for a different person, as well as those who were contacted after first requesting that a company stop calling them. Anyone who was called on a wireless number, whether personal or business, may have a claim as well, if the telemarketing company did not receive the called party’s prior express written consent.
After reporting the spam to HLF, PLLC, then review HLF’s Guide On How To Stop Telemarketing Abuse.
1. Call the Telemarketer and Tell Them to Take You Off Their List
By contacting the telemarketer and asking them to remove you from your list, you are revoking any consent you may have given them in the first place. If they continue to call you using autodialed or prerecorded messages then for each call you can recover $500 – $1500 from them. You can report the phone spam on HLF’s contact form above.
2. Sign Up for the Do Not Call List
You can sign up for the do-not-call list here. This will be helpful in reducing the telemarketing calls. Of course, many marketers ignore the list altogether. Either way, you can always report the phone spam on HLF’s website, and we will track down the phone spammer and try to help you collect $500 – $1500 per phone call that they sent you.
3. Complete the Spam Report On Our Website
By completing the Telemarketer Abuse Report form on HLF’s website, HLF will try and help you collect $500 – $1500 per phone call you received from a telemarketer if they called you through an autodialer or prerecorded message without your consent. Please include as many details of the call you can. Please make a note if there was a pause before you were connected to a live operator or a prerecorded message. HLF researches every report, and HLF will be in touch with you shortly.
If you need to register your telephone number with the “National Do Not Call Registry”, and/or for more information on this registry please visit: https://www.donotcall.gov/
